Maya Higgins (she/her)
*receiving clients starting July 2025!
I bring a trauma-informed and somatic-based approach to coaching. I’m most interested in collaborating with others to understand and align values and action, deepen embodied healing using multimedia engagement, and explore themes connected to queer identity, power, whiteness, conflict, and interpersonal relationship dynamics. I enjoy working with mid-career professionals exploring their own leadership and organizational transformation.

Teri Brezner (she/her)
I support clients navigating ‘liminal space’ during times of transition and change - whether you are a senior leader managing diverse teams and systems change, a new parent navigating life and career after a baby or an emerging to mid-career leader exploring career transitions, together we explore how to get into right relationship with change. My approach invites you to shift from your ‘doing’ self to your ‘being’ self, through trauma informed somatics, play, creativity, reflection, visualizations, metaphors and inner parts work, to surface your deepest knowing, longings and desires.
Sliding scale rates available on request.

“When I needed a voice of reason, or when I got bogged down in my own criticism, she pulled me out of it. I learned so much about myself and how to treat myself with grace and gentleness.”
— Zavia Jenkins
“Guilu Murphy is an excellent listener and grounding communicator. Her coaching style is one of genuine care and support and that showed each time we met. I always felt heard, encouraged, and supported by Guilu. She helped me to look inwards at my struggles and learn how to tackle them a little at a time. When I needed a voice of reason, or when I got bogged down in my own criticism, she pulled me out of it. I learned so much about myself and how to treat myself with grace and gentleness. Guilu Murphy is an amazing teacher and coach, and an even better person.”

“Healing-Centered Coaching is an intentional partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and healing process that inspires them to maximize their potential. As Healing-Centered Coaches, we honor the client as the expert in their lives and know that every client holds within them the potential to manifest their deepest desires.”
We believe deeply in the power of people living and working in closer alignment with their values, vision, and wisest inner voice. Coaching has the capacity to transform our relationships with ourselves, each other, and the change we wish to create. We are excited to hold transformational and empowering coaching sessions for clients to make discoveries, meaning, and connections to actualize their fullest visions.
As ICF Certified Healing-Centered coaches trained by Blooming Willow Coaching, we hold space for clients to 1) Pause and move away from doing, 2) Ground in intention, 3) Align opportunities to maximize impact, and 4) step into Action that honors growth and healing with the support of an accountability partner. This style of coaching isn’t about fixing, rather it’s about honoring the divine wholeness and possibility we each encapsulate, whether that feels near or very far away.

Coaches are not mental healthcare professionals. While we use similar tools and can support similar needs, coaching is more present and future-oriented. Coaching uses thought-provoking methods to support clients in drawing upon their own wisdom and resourcefulness to living into their fullest personal and professional potential, rather than addressing mental health needs. Coaches use strategies and creative tools to support clients in moving beyond limiting beliefs, expanding their view of possibilities, accessing creativity to move through barriers and challenges in service of their overarching vision.

One of the reasons we enjoy coaching is the opportunity to witness powerful moments when clients are able to more fully connect with themselves. Having a coach witness and guide in exploring a greater range of possibilities than clients might be able to do on their own helps them to go deeper to bring about change they are seeking in their own and others' lives. Coaching offers a space to do work that is hard to do alone through coaches' outside perspective and ability to mirror the questions, needs, sentiments, and inner wisdom of the client back to them.

If you're looking to find a heart-centered way forward aligned with your closest held values while navigating challenges that may be conflicting, confusing, and systemic, we are excited to partner with you to creatively engage your inner wisdom. Bringing years of experience with coaching and mentoring, and coming from a place of truly enjoying this work, we are people who are excited to partner with you through the divine mess of life, transition, and transformation. We are patient, curious, and focused on your goals to create an encouraging space to speak intimidating dreams out loud, working through tough challenges, or someone willing to challenge you. We enjoy using the tools of play, metaphor, visualization, embodiment, and parts work to help engage the right brain and ease the problem-solving, logical, and overused left brain. We honor all our clients’ wholeness and wisdom wherever they are looking to meet themselves.
“‘An acorn does not have to say, I intend to become an oak tree.' Natural Intelligence intends that every living thing become the highest form of itself and designs us accordingly. … natural intelligence does not require we do anything to achieve it....We arrived on this planet with the source material already present…. A trembling acorn is plummeting from a branch, clueless as to why. It doesn’t need to know why to fulfill its calling; it just needs us to get out of its way.” — Sonya Renee Taylor, The Body is a Not an Apology
